Christmas Day At My Friend's House

Josey invited me over to have a christmas lunch together. Josey's mother, Joann was wonderful and sweet. We enjoyed to hang out and yap-yap hours. Josey's three children were playing with their own toys. Josey's daughter, Katie drew me a cute picture of herself with her hat. it was not bad for a day.

I came home from Josey's house. I decided to call my family on video phone. That was good to see my sister Karen again. We chatted almost one hour and half about everything. I nagged her to keep in touch with me through email which she ALMOST never keep in touch with me. HMPH at her. Billy Jr came out of blue....telling me a lot of Helen Keller jokes. *eyes rolling* What a boring conversation--it is a fact. I told him to say anything about his family, his personal and his friends. Even though, he said very little about his kids. Oh, well...I saw his son, Danny. he was very shy. He only said "Hi" then "bye" as he left. *sigh* Billy Jr's wife Tanya brought their daughter, Rebecca. She whined like she hated us. What a brat.
Lily's son Zachary was excited to see me on VP. He said "Aunt!" He signed "Milk" and "Yes". He was cool. Lily's daughter, Yamka is soo cute. My dad told me Yamka sat with her legs backward like what I did when I was baby. I remembered I did sit like her when I was around 4 until then I grew out of it.

So far, I have enjoyed to see my siblings again and talked to them, even they are in Virginia far away from Texas. Thank god for video phone.

This month I wanted to say...

• Two friends of mine asked me to be a godmother to their three kids. It is interesting that they wanted me to be a godmother. Naturally, they know I love kids. :-)They are a lesbian couple. Three kids' mother and father are separated right now, they are processing to get a divorce.
• I work at American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. as stocker, I love the job and people are running forth and back in the backroom a lot. I enjoy to watch them pressure out during Christmas time. Heh. I have one store manager, two managers and one manager assistance--I rolled my eyes at a manager assistance (woman) asked a question. "You drive?" she said. I stared at her in eyes and *thinking* "oh, come on. You uneducated woman, how dare you think deaf person can't drive??" DU-H! I tell you that Texans are some idiots because few workers in AEO surprised or dropped jaws that I drive and even I own my car. What a dork!
• Ricky wrote on his blog about bush, Conservatives, Christians, and Republicans are fucked up themselves because they put up with their own hidden problems. They realize that freedom of speech always targets them and get in papers. We know that they think they hide too well but we aint dumb. Observe But Do Not Interfere For one thing that got me so pissed off. Bush said about gay marriage last summer. He wanted to ban gay marriage because he believed that gay marriage can be harmed to marriage traditional, moral and family values. That is BULLSHIT! I would LOVE to blunt him, Christians, conservations, republicans that they are destroying many people's cultures and traditional. For example, Deaf Culture will be faded out because of cochlea implants, orals, etc. We fight to keep our culture and accept who we are. Now, they are fear that gay people are out to destroy their culture and tradition. Oh, PLEASE!! Watch what they say...would get many backfires!

An Investigator's cat named Colby Nolan had some experienced in retail management and babysitting. Simply to send Colby's resume with a transcript listed the cat's course work and 3.5 grade-point average. That made me sick to my stomach!

I have studied hard for long years to earn credits from Gallaudet university. I made a lot of NON-CREDITS before I got into a freshman year. That expended longer than this CAT!!

Damn those people who SCAMS us with this simple fancy bachelor's degree from online.
Yeah, I know they are trying to make some money for a living but hurting people's future.

Debra just had a birthday party at the salt grass restaurant. We took a picture together outside of the restaurant. We had fun. Josiah, Jonathan, Joshua, Jodi and I were celebrating her mom's 40th birthday. Her daughter Jamie was not there and not in the picture because she was at MSSD in Washington DC.

This is a most cherish picture of my Great-Aunt Mary and Grandmother Virginia.
Great-Aunt Mary is still alive and well. She is 82. My Grandmother passed away in September 1987. I was 15. My siblings and I were very closer to her because of being a deaf grandmother.

She was a mother of my mother. She had three deaf children.

I have a best memory about her. She always made a oatmeal chocolate cookie when I stayed at her house for few days. I sat on the table next to the stove and helped her stirring the pot with butter and sugar until melt.

I miss her. I know she watches over me everyday and I feel safe.
